The arrival of the German army in Riga. Registration of Latvian volunteers, parade in Dome square, parade in Riga streets. The first volunteers go to work in Germany, a farewell and a rally. Latvian girls go to work in Germany. Latvians hand over warm linen and skis to the army. The servants prepare the firewood. Townspeople help farmers to weed beets. Residents of Latvia hand over scrap metal to the army. Burial in the Brethren Cemetery. Captain Alexander Mateas and soldier Kiwi are awarded for the Iron Cross.
